task 2

Many people like to stay at the same point in their lives. They do not feel comfortable making changes in their rutine or in their environments.
I do not share their feelings towards it. I think that something important in our lives is to evolve, to be always learning new things. And if you want to reach that, you will always need to live new experiences, to meet new people and to change things from time to time.

However, many people feel more secure having the same rutine every day, making no changes and taking no risks, because that makes them feel they have everything controlled. But many times that kind of life can make you feel trapped, and it is even described that sometimes having a rutinary life is associated with depression. In fact, when I was depressed six years ago, the first thing my psychologist told me to do was to make some changes in my life.

Another important thing about having new experiences is that the only way you can grow up and develop yourself as a better person is to learn from the things you have experienced. Every single experience in your life, no matter if we are talking about the death of a relative or about doing rafting, teachs you important things that you can use to become a person that knows how to react in different situations.

Finally, we must consider that life is too short to be wasted in a daily rutine. We just have few years to do whatever we want, and we usually do not take that chance. We just live once, and it is very important to enjoy our lives doing all the things we would like to do and all the things we need to do to evolve as better people. We must try to throw our fears away and do all what we want to do without being scared about the change.

task 1

SOME PEOPLE ENJOY CHANGE AND THEY LOOK FORWARD TO NEW EXPERIENCES. OTHERS LIKE THEIR LIVES TO STAY THE SAME, AND THEY DO NOT CHANGE THEIR USUAL HABITS. COMPARE THESE TWO APPROACHES OF LIFE. WHICH APPROACH DO YOU PREFER? EXPLAIN WHY.

Many people like to stay in the same point in their lifes. They don’t feel comfortable making changes in their rutine, in their environments or in their lifes.

I don’t share their feelings towards it. I think that something important in our lifes is to evolve, to be always learning new things. And to reach that, you will always need to live new experiences, to meet new people and to change things from time to time. Also, many people feel more secure having the same rutine every day, making no changes. But many times that kind of life can make you feel trapped, and it is also described that sometimes having a rutinary life is associated with depression. In fact, some psychologist have said that a way to get over a depression is to change the rutine.

Another important thing about having new experiences is that the only way you can grow up and develope yourself as a better person is to is to learn from the things you have experienced. Every single experience in your life teachs you important things that you can use to become a person that knows how to react in different situations, no matter if we are talking about the death of a realtive or about doing rafting.

Furthermore, we must consider that life is too short to be wasted in a daily rutine. We have just a few years to do whatever we want, and we usually don’t take that chance. We just live once, and it’s very important to enjoy our lifes doing all the things we would like to do. We must try to throw our fears away (maybe that is the main reason why people prefer an “static” life) and do all what we want to do.

For this reasons and many others Carpe Diem!... you must seize the day.
